About the role and who we are looking for:            

We are looking for enthusiastic Cleaning Assistants to work on weekends at our Senior Living site in Onewa, Auckland.  Hours of work are a minimum of 16 hours per week

What will you be doing??

  • cleaning of the resident's rooms as well as the general areas (including bathrooms, toilets, rooms and offices).
  • vacuuming and polishing floors
  • emptying rubbish.
  • maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • manage cleaning duties in a timely manner
  • adhere to health, safety and security procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideal skills and experience you will have:

    If you're our ideal candidate you will have a high attention to detail and be willing to go the extra mile, take pride and ownership of the role, have high standards in personal presentation, as well as a have a friendly, helpful, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.  You will demonstrate good working knowledge of commercial cleaning and infection control procedures and have excellent communication and strong organisational skills. Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience in an aged care environment.

    To be considered for this position you: 

  • will be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
  • will need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check.
