JOB DESCRIPTION

Reef Seafood and Sushi Brisbane is a family owned Japanese influenced seafood restaurant and grocer located in the heart of Newstead, Gasworks Plaza. Using the freshest local products and over 40 years of knowledge and experience, Head Chef Shigeki Uno has created a menu like no other. 

We’re all about our people and we’re dedicated to looking after them. As part of our team you’ll get real responsibility from the start, taking centre stage as team leader.

As Venue Manager you are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to give 100% and be a very hands on manager.

What we offer:

  • Generous Salary (Full time 38hrs)
  • Choice of 4 or 5 day roster
  • Venue is Closed by 9pm weekdays and 10pm on the weekend

REQUIREMENTS

About the role

  • Experience in working in a busy bar or restaurant, or other quality venue in a hands-on customer facing role 
  • An energized leadership style that is authentic, engaging, and supportive
  • You must be a strong team player, creative and self-motivated and willing to undertake a hands-on role so you may lead from the front
  • You have an outgoing personality, positive attitude and loads of initiative 
  • Organized and able to priorities jobs as needed
  • High standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation 
  • Have a passion for the industry, customer service and guest experience
  • Able to work in with other Managers and Owner
  • Experience in Rostering and achieving targets and goals
  • Stocktaking and ordering for the Bar
