We are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join the amazing team at The Dolphin Hotel in Surry Hills. This is a Full-Time role offering a generous salary package, including group-wide incentives and discounts. There is also opportunity for career progression and access to our broader culinary experts within our group.
We have the ability to offer sponsorship transfer or new sponsorship for the right candidate if required.
THE VENUE: The Dolphin Hotel is an iconic venue right in the heart of Surry Hills. The multi award winning venue boasts 3 levels with 4 bars and has cemented itself as an institution of the Sydney hospitality scene. The venue has a strong focus on quality driven produce, with an Italo inspired food menu, a wine list that puts most pubs to shame and some of the best cocktails Surry Hills has to offer. All this surrounded by a Christo inspired decor, plenty of art and a team culture that is second to none.
THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking passionate professionals with 2 or more years’ experience in a Sous Chef position. You will have a passion for Australian produce with the ability to draw inspiration from across the globe, contributing to a thought provoking and memorable dining experience. Using your ability to work under pressure and take charge, you will demonstrate to your team the power of great leadership and commitment to service, leading by example with a willingness to mentor and guide the junior cooks.
Your creative detail mind, together with previous experience in managing budgets, ordering and organising the kitchen team, will lay the groundwork for your success in this role.
