JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Tucked beneath The Strand Hotel, Strand Bistrotheque is a an early-to-late night French inspired restaurant and wine bar. Our rooftop cocktail bar, Kasbah is the perfect spot to enjoy a long lunch or sunset cocktails overlooking Darlinghurst and the city skyline. 

Our Cocktail Bartenders and Section Waiters are confident, vibrant and self-motivated professionals who are meticulous about service delivery. With a genuine passion for hospitality, you'll be providing warm and friendly service for our guests, suggesting wines, shaking inspiring cocktails and pouring that perfect beer. 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

All-rounder
Bartender
Cocktail Bartender
Waitstaff
Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

ABOUT YOU: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience 

  • You thrive on delivering outstanding service, ensuring your guests always enjoy the best experience 

  • Previous bar experience, including knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wine is essential 

  • You have highly developed communication skills. 

  • Quick thinker, highly organised with superb attention to detail. 

  • You hold a valid NSW Responsible Serving of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) 

  • Available to work evenings and weekends with unrestricted work rights.
