We have an opportunity for two (2) experienced and passionate CDPs. We need you to bring you skills and flair in the kitchen to our brand-new venue at Shell House.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential, but just as important is the pride your take in your profession and in being able to offer a point of difference, with a dedication to quality cuisines.
This is an opportuntiy to join our culinary Director, Joel Bickford and expand your skills and experienced with an exceptional team.
You will be offered continual on-the-job training, with guidance and development from all senior chefs and management. There will be opportunities for career progression as well, as we are already underway with the build of our dining experience on Fort Denison. (due to open late 2022).

This venue is spread over three levels, creating an unparalleled CBD hospitality experience. Combining both indoor and outdoor settings, including the ground floor bar and bistro, The Menzies Bar, on street level, the indoor/outdoor Shell House Dining Room and Terrace on level 9 and the Shell House Sky Bar on Level 10.

Spread over three levels, Shell House is an unparalleled hospitality experience in the Sydney CBD, combining both indoor and outdoor settings over 1,250 sqm of space. This includes a ground floor bar, the Menzies Bar, the Shell House Dining Room and Terrace, and the Clocktower Bar on level 9 and the Shell House Sky Bar on Level 10. “We feel like we have a once in a generation opportunity to do something extraordinary of a global standard, to build a new iconic hospitality landmark and take a leading role in reigniting the CBD dining culture. Shell House is historically significant as the only surviving interwar commercial palazzo-style building in Sydney, clad with glazed terracotta ‘faience’ blocks. Standing at 65.5 metres high, Shell House’s façade is also one of the tallest retained heritage façades in the world. Prior to redevelopment, Shell House was home to the Menzies Hotel, with its outdated 1970s interiors now being transformed into a contemporary office building designed by architects MAKE and Architectus with fitout by Woods Bagot.
