Xenia is the region’s leading group of Greek restaurants. Family-owned, we pride ourselves in creating an outstanding Greek experience for our customers. We have three restaurants on the Gold Coast – Main Beach, Coolangatta & Casuarina.

We have 2 manager positions available: 1 for Main Beach, 1 for Coolangatta

The successful candidate will join a team of A-players aligned with their objectives and our core values, to deliver the best Greek experience on the coast.

Due to recent expansion, we are seeking an experienced Front of House manager to join our team and manage the front-of-house operation at Xenia Grill, Coolangatta. They will be reporting to and working with the Group Front of House Manager. 

The major aspects of the job involve:

  • Staff management:  staff trials, training, rostering, management
  • Targets & Budgets: setting sales targets, meeting wage & COGS budgets
  • Operations: waitering, bar tending including cocktails, coffees, table service, floor management, bookings, customer relations
  • Leadership team: working as part of the company leadership team on business growth opportunities
  • Venue managent: stock control, equipment care, cleanliness

The right candidate must be:

  • Experienced as a waiter, bar tender, supervisor and if possible manager.
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Dedicated, dilligent, process orientated, great team player
  • A strong match to our core values

Candidates must provide an up to date CV with at least two current references.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Restaurant Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Planning and organising special events
  • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Assist team during trading to run meals and clearing tables
  • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
  • Selecting, training and supervising staff
  • Taking reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking orders
  • Answer emails and all other customer queries
