JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking to take the next step in your hospitality career? With the opening of transmission gully it has never been easier to access the stunning Kapiti Coast!

We are looking for an ambitious driven individual to oversee our beachfront venue. On the ground floor we have ‘Hola Mexican’ a fun and vibrant Mexican street food eatery, which is open Tuesday- Sunday. On the second floor we have ‘Hola Bar & Grill’ a beautiful ala carte restaurant with a bespoke cocktail bar, which is open Thursday-Saturday, but could include extra days.

The ideal applicant will have the following:
• 6+ years experience in hospitality
• 2+ years restaurant management experience
• Excellent and broad food and beverage knowledge - Mexican knowledge is an advantage, but not necessary
• Duty Managers Certificate
• A positive and “Can Do” attitude
• A desire to grow and challenge themselves
• Be hard working and able to do big weeks and hours when needed
• A team player mentality
• Strong leadership qualities
• Full availability to work in NZ
