JOB DESCRIPTION

Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Hand @ White and Wongs - Auckland CBD.

White + Wong's, Auckland CBD are currently seeking Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Hands to join its team. This is a fast passed restaurant in Auckland CBD so some kitchen hand experience is essential.

Full and part time roles available (day or night shift)

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be required to undertake the day to day cleaning jobs that will be set out as well as some of the following core tasks:
 

  • Date and label all items.
  • Follow recipes to ensure consistency.
  • Always wrap items well when putting away in the fridges.
  • Ensure safe food handling practices and procedures at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicants will have:

  • Good communication skills
  • Be comfortable working under pressure 
  • Extremely clean and tidy
  • Well presented
  • Hardworking and professional
