We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and bubbly person to join our hospitality team. The role will include working in all areas of our restaurant and bar.

Purpose

• To prepare customer areas for service. 
• To ensure the smooth running of the function / cafe.
• To provide professional, efficient and courteous service to customers

Duties

• Maintain professional café/bar image, including cleanliness, proper uniform, and appearance standards.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of service.
• Greet customers warmly and serve in a prompt, pleasant and efficient manner.
• Operation of tills
• Serve food to customers
• Put food out on tables
• Barista duties as required 
• Attend to bar duties including pouring beers, wines and serving other drinks
• Ensure the customer areas are clean and tidy at all times.
• Cleaning standards must be high at all times ensuring tables are cleared and wiped promptly. A quality image of the bar must be perceived at all times.
• Ensure tables are cleared quickly and efficiently and plates, glasses and utensils returned to their designated areas
• Clean designated areas in accordance with procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements
• Report any complaints from customers to the Duty Manager immediately

Health & Safety

• Manage and facilitate a safe workplace in accordance with company guidelines
• Report all hazards to the Health & Safety Officer and proactively monitor the workplace for potential hazard
