JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role:

The stunning Fable Terrace Downs Resort, boasting a championship-style golf course, is looking for a Food and Beverage Attendant to join our Restaurant team! 

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, your passion for providing exceptional customer service contributes to our high level of customer satisfaction. You will build genuine and authentic connections with every guest. Your ability to promote products and services is essential, and you have immaculate personal presentation and excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time role, minimum 30 hours per week, reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Professionally welcome guests and deliver premium-standard table service
  • Set up and prepare the restaurant for restaurant service as well as booked functions
  • Ensure that the venue is kept clean at all time
  • Follow the direction of your Manager and assist with other departments as needed
  • Understand the company policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of other staff members and guests. 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Food & Beverage Attendant

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience and success in equivalent job roles
  • Punctual, organised and trustworthy
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
  • Ability to solve problems and think-on-your-feet 
  • Flexible to work rostered shifts, minimum 30 hours a week, including weekends and public holidays
  • Current eligibility to work in New Zealand
