JOB DESCRIPTION

The Cambridge Hotel Wellington forms part of New Zealand Venue Co. who are passionate about delivering unique and exceptional customer experiences across food, drink and events.  

We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Chef de Partie who takes pride in their work to join our team. 

We are looking for an individual focused on meticulous food preparation and presentation coupled with the ability to produce quality and consistency

Chef de Partie
Commis Chef
Pastry Chef
Pizza Chef
Cook

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Requirements: 

  • Qualifications in commercial cookery or relevant industry experience  
  • Confidence in your cooking abilities
  • Creativity and high presentation standards
  • The ability to cook and prepare dishes with consistency and to a high standard
  • An understanding of Food Safety and OHS requirements
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Be able to work solo, unsupervised or lead a small team 
  • Good communication skills with an approachable manor
  • The ability to train and develop staff 

 

Experience: 

  • 1 -2 years prior experience in a similar role
