Vaquero Dining - Assistant Manager (casual into fulltime)

Vaquero is in search for an experienced assistant manager, looking for career progression.

Vaquero is a small suburban restaurant with a big heart.

Seating up to 70 guests we opened in 2016 in the inner-city suburb of Albion. We continue to go from strength to strength, despite the current challenges. As such, with growing numbers and increasing trading hours come the opportunity for this senor front of house role.

Our menu is ever changing but our focus is a constant with an honest approach to quality produce at the best value possible.

This is a hands-on service role that will support the venue manager. On top of managing service in the absence of the venue manager you will be trained and be jointly responsible for:

* Responding to function enquires and managing events

* Opening & closing of the venue

* Cash offs & banking 

* Beverage ordering/purchasing, Stocktakes, Beverage menu development

* Ensuring minimal wastage & assisting to achieve COGs/ GP targets

* Staff training & Support 

* Rostering

* Ensuring the currents servce standards are met and reguar customers retained.

We will be closed for a 2 week period through Christmas to undertake some exiting refurbishments to ensure we can continue on our current growth trajectory.
